Why We Built This Site
Michigan opens a good deal of court and county information to the public, and the hard part is knowing which office holds the page you want. A warrant does not sit in one place. The court that signs an order sets the charge and the bond. The agency that serves it may be the sheriff or a city police department. A bench warrant from a missed date belongs to whichever court set the case.
Some of that material appears in an eligible online case search. Some of it takes a counter visit or a written request. It is easy to check one office, come up empty, and draw the wrong conclusion. We gathered the contact details and request routes for the St. Joseph County offices that hold these records, so a reader can start in the right spot.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant checks: how to run a warrant check by name and case number through the courts
- Open orders: why no county roster exists and how to confirm an active warrant
- Missed dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Criminal charges: how arrest warrants are issued and served
- Traffic cases: how a traffic warrant is paid or lifted
- City and county lists: why city tickets go to the county district court, and what a published list would cover
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Michigan court, sheriff's office, or county agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official court or sheriff check for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant
- We cannot post bond or accept payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender or a court date
- We cannot give legal advice about a specific case
- We cannot promise that every address, phone number, or fee here is current
Only the issuing court, or the sheriff when it holds the service record, can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it was recalled. We can point to the right office, but the answer has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages carry search boxes supplied by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services. When a search leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue keeps the site free to use. The results are not an official warrant check, and a provider's data is not a court record.
